Data sharing

The council may share your personal data provided for council tax purposes internally to provide other statutory services. It may also share your data for cross checking purposes both internally and with external organisations, including government departments, for the prevention and detection of fraud and/or crime. This may include checks to confirm entitlement to discounts and exemptions. Any use of personal data will be in full accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
