Commissioning of positive activities for young people in Cheltenham
Gloucestershire County Council has allocated £50k in each of the six Gloucestershire districts in 2011-12 to ensure that young people can access activities that
make a positive difference to them, their health and wellbeing and the
communities they live in.
In addition the Cheltenham Community
Safety Partnership and the Health and Wellbeing Partnership contributed
funding to create a total pot of £66,500.
Local community and voluntary organsiations were invited to bid for funding, and over two phases the fund has enabled 22 projects to be supported.
The Positive Activities funding for the financial year 2011-12 has now all been allocated .
