The Wilson Shop team have been excitedly unwrapping and displaying an eclectic new range of giftware and unique items for sale in the ground floor shop.
With a selection of items by cutting edge designer brand Alessi and independent Bristol design-house Pirrip Press, the new ranges have been hand-picked for their high quality and quirky individuality. One of only nine stockists of Pirrip Press, and now only the second stockist of Alessi in Cheltenham, The Wilson is delighted to be supporting both an independent design studio, and offering internationally famous designer products alongside its existing range of gifts, books and souvenirs.
From humorous song lyric greetings cards, to little monster bottle openers, to designer fruit bowls and space-age lemon juicers, the choice on offer at The Wilson Shop is an exciting demonstration of the redeveloped gallery and museum’s ongoing offering to the town of Cheltenham. The new shop range really does have something for everyone – pocket money items for children, gifts for special occasions, souvenirs of a trip to Cheltenham, design-led stationery and a wide range of art books relating to the permanent collections and beyond. Art and design are central to the permanent collections at The Wilson and characteristics of items in these collections such as the style, durability and quality of making, are echoed in the ranges of items now on sale.
The Wilson Shop is open 9.30am – 5.15pm every day except 25, 26 & 28 December 2015 and 1 January 2016.
