Last month, a public inquiry was held at the Municipal Offices to hear the planning appeal by RPS Planning and Development against the council’s decision to refuse an outline planning application for 650 homes to be built on land to the south of the A46, Shurdington Road.

After a two week long hearing, the planning inspector’s report and recommendation will be made to the Secretary of State on the 18 January 2016. A decision should be issued by the Secretary of State on or before 7 April 2016.
The planning application can be viewed on public access using reference 13/01605/OUT
