A picture of abandoned dog called Brock

A male 14 month old Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Husky cross, was found yesterday (Tuesday 10 April) tied up along a footpath in the Fiddlers Green area of Cheltenham.

Brock was found around lunch time yesterday during the heavy hail storms by a member of the public. He was tied up with the use of his own lead with a message around his neck that read: "MY NAME IS BROCK, PLEASE FIND ME A HOME…"

Clive Evans, community protection officer at Cheltenham Borough Council, says: "We would like to try and establish why the dog had been left in the manner that he had. Any calls we receive will be dealt with in confidence."

If you recognise the description of the dog and might know who owns it please contact Clive Evans on 01242 264104.

Notes
The dog is being kennelled at the Animal Shelter in Gardeners Lane.
Pictures are available on request.
