Cheltenham Development Task Force

These pages concentrate on the central area of Cheltenham which is the focus for the Cheltenham Development Task Force. The vision set out here includes much of the work done previously, that was the subject of extensive public consultation in 2008 under the name Civic Pride. However, the current vision also reflects changes in the national economy and has resulted in changes being made to some of the 2008 Civic Pride documents.

Here we will focus on mapping the central area of the town and highlighting the main challenges and opportunities connected to its development. Further details on specific sites, for example Boots Corner, and specific objectives, for example sustainability, will follow.
