Hatherley Park
Park Information
Hatherley Park is a charming ornamental park set in the residential area of Hatherley. This park boasts a lake, a new wildlife pond and seating carved out of trees that were felled a number of years ago.
Fine examples of mature trees line the main path providing a stunning array of colour in the Autumn.
The park has two children's play areas - a fenced area for infants and young children and another area opposite this designed for juniors and older children - plus an area for teenagers with a basketball post. A junior football pitch and new changing rooms were recently installed.
Feeding the ducks is a very popular pastime at Hatherley and visitors may buy birdseed from either Tivoli Trading on Andover Road or from Newman and Bloodworth on Bath Road .
Hatherley Park has been successful in winning Green Flag Awards three times and the assistance of the Friends of Hatherley Park was, and is, invaluable.
