Cheltenham has been described as "a town within a park", and with over 100 parks and green spaces across the borough, it's no wonder. The beauty and picturesque sights of Cheltenham continue to attract visitors from countries all over the world. For many years people have enjoyed the beauty of Cheltenham's parks, open spaces and the general greenery of the town.

Cheltenham has recently gained a significant new honour, with Leckhampton Hill being officially designated as one of the King’s series of National Nature Reserves.
