From: Tracey Smith Sent: 30 April 2019 10:04 To: John Rowley; Hannah Millman Subject: Cheltenham Plan Examination Importance: High Dear John, The Inspector has asked me to pass on the following to you and your team: “I would like to thank John Rowley and his team for their response to my advice note. I note the Council’s response to those matters on which it is necessary for extra work to be carried out and look forward to seeing the results of that work. With regard to the MD5 allocation, it is intended to hold discussions concerning the level of housing to be provided within the allocation and the potential for some LGS within the allocation. However, there is no indication that the landowners/housebuilders are to be included within those discussions. Can the Council please confirm that Miller Homes and Bovis Homes together with any owners of land within the allocation site will be included in the discussions. I suggest that a Statement of Common Ground (SoCG) regarding housing levels and the provision of LGS within site MD5 be produced which sets out the final position of all those with interests in land within site MD5 and the Council. Can the Council also confirm that landowners and those with relevant land interests will be included in discussions concerning the review of the LGS in Table 8. Again, it would be helpful to have SoCG between the various parties involved in the discussion of the most controversial designations. With regard to other matters raised in the note, there are a number of modifications identified within the note which are not referred to in the response. Can the Council please confirm that each of those suggested modifications will be included in the next list of main modifications (MMs), and if it is not intended to do so, can the Council’s reasons be provided either as a formal response to this email or when a revised list of MMs is produced? In terms of the timetable, it would be helpful for me to see the interim list of modifications available for the 17 May while work is continued on the secondary school site and LGS.” I look forward to hearing from you but please do not hesitate to contact me if any clarification is required on the above.
