Who is responsible for managing public trees in Cheltenham?

Trees in parks and gardens and many open spaces are managed by Cheltenham Borough Council tree section (please see our managament page for more information) whereas street trees are managed by Gloucestershire Highways.

 

Trees planted in pavements along the sides of roads are classed as street trees and are usually owned and managed by Gloucestershire Highways department. If a street tree is causing an issue please contact Highways directly on 08000 514 514 or email gcchighways@amey.co.uk
