Don’t miss your right to vote

On Thursday 22 May 2014, elections will be held to determine who will represent the Borough council and the South West Region of the European Parliament.
Cheltenham residents wishing to vote, who are not yet registered, need to contact the council now to obtain an application form, or to download a form go to About My Vote. Completed forms must be received by 6 May. EU citizens can cast their vote at the European Parliamentary election in Cheltenham if they have returned the European Parliamentary Voter Registration form by 6 May. Contact the council's election team or visit About My Vote to obtain a form.
Anyone wishing to have a postal vote for the elections on 22 May must return their application forms by 5pm on Wednesday 7 May.
New application forms for a proxy vote (except for emergencies) must be returned by 5pm on Wednesday 14 May. A proxy vote is having someone vote on your behalf.
To change or cancel an existing postal, postal proxy or proxy vote appointment, written instruction must be received by 5pm 7 May.
