Charlton Park ward - don’t miss your right to vote

The election of a borough councillor for the Charlton Park ward will take place on Thursday 3 July 2014.
Charlton Park ward residents wishing to vote, who are not yet registered, can now register on-line by logging into http://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote by Tuesday 17 June. You will need to provide a few details including your National Insurance number and date of birth. This makes electoral registration more secure. If you prefer, the electoral registration office can send you a form which must be returned by Tuesday 17 June.
Anyone wishing to have a postal vote for this election must return their application form by 5pm on Wednesday 18 June.
New application forms for a proxy vote (except for emergencies) must be returned by 5pm on Wednesday 25 June. A proxy vote is having someone vote on your behalf.
To change or cancel an existing postal, postal proxy or proxy vote appointment, signed written instruction must be received by 5pm on Wednesday 18 June.
