Waste and recycling survey closes on 31 July
Cheltenham residents can suggest future improvements to their waste and recycling service by taking part in a survey. There are only a few days left though as the survey ends at 5pm on Sunday 31 July.
So far, more than 1,400 residents have taken part in the survey which is a great response but the council would still like more people to share their views on the current service and any changes they’d like to see.
The survey can be found online and hardcopies are available at the main council receptions, Cheltenham Borough Homes receptions, local community resource centres, the main Cheltenham library and Shopmobility (as listed below).
Cllr Chris Coleman, cabinet member for clean and green environment, said: “I am really pleased with the high response rate that we’ve had to this survey and I urge people to take part if they haven’t already. The survey has been designed so that it only takes a few minutes to complete.
‘’We really want to hear what people think and we will take their comments seriously as we shape future waste and recycling services. We want to encourage more recycling and provide the best possible service possible for everyone in our town.”
A second consultation phase will follow later in the year, when more specific options for waste and recycling collections will be presented to residents.
