By-election to take place for All Saints ward

A by-election for All Saints ward will take place on Thursday 4 May.

Two polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm at Holy Trinity Primary School, Jersey Street and Morton Brown Room, Highbury Church Hall, Priory Terrace. People living in the All Saints ward who are eligible are being encouraged to go along to vote.

Nominations close at 4pm on 4 April.  13 April is the deadline to register to vote. Residents can register to vote online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote. Residents can also check whether they’re registered to vote by calling 01242 264132.

5pm on 18 April is the latest time for receipt of new postal and postal proxy applications or changes (including cancellation) to existing postal, postal proxy or proxy appointments.

Any new proxy vote applications need to be received by 5pm on 25 April.

The by-election will take place on the same day as the Gloucestershire County Council elections.
