Municipal Offices now closed until further notice

From tomorrow (Thursday 16 April) the Municipal Offices will be closed to visitors and all enquiries will now be dealt with online or by telephone.
Following government advice that is designed to help reduce the spread of coronavirus and protect the most vulnerable in our community, the council has taken a number of steps to help ensure the wellbeing of customers, staff and the wider community, while also keeping essential services running.
Councillor Alex Hegenbarth cabinet member for corporate services said: “We have made this difficult decision to ensure we protect the wellbeing of our customers and employees so to focus our efforts on ensuring we can continue to provide services that are of critical importance."

Direct debits are available for regular council tax and rent payments.

If you need to speak to somebody about your payment you can call 01242 262626. Lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (Wednesday 9.30am - 5pm) and your payment can be made over the telephone.
