£2k win at the weekend! Enter the Cheltenham Lottery to be in with a chance of winning top prizes while supporting Cheltenham's communities and groups with their fundraising challenges.

Cheltenham Lottery, now almost six months old, continues to help local groups and every ticket purchased makes a real difference to our communities.

Among the 65 good causes already registered are Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity, LINC, No Child Left Behind and Cheltenham Animal Shelter, all of which may need additional support at this time as they work under difficult conditions to battle against COVID19.

Any local organisations not currently registered with their own lottery page, are reminded that there are no set up costs or admin fees, and 50% of all ticket sales from these pages is kept by the cause.

Councillor Flo Clucas, cabinet member for healthy lifestyles, said: “Good causes across our communities are doing fantastic work under difficult conditions and any support they get is vital for them to remain open.

“Cheltenham’s lottery offers direct benefits to the community and supports groups with their fundraising challenges.

“There are so many worthy causes registered to receive support from the scheme and people may also wish to remind causes that are important to them to sign up to be a beneficiary.

“Players can be assured that proceeds will stay in the borough and go directly to their chosen cause.

“Miss N won £2k over the weekend – could you do one better and win the £25k jackpot?

“There has never been a better time to support the lottery and help our local heroes carry on their vital work.”

Miss N, from Coleford, continues: “I was absolutely delighted to win £2,000 last weekend and I am hoping to use my winnings on a break to Scotland once we are allowed to travel again.

“I’ve been playing the Cheltenham Lottery since its launch. It’s great to be able to spend a little bit of money each week to support my favourite local charity, The Vale Wildlife Hospital, and it also gives me the chance to pick up a prize!”

Cheltenham Lottery tickets cost £1 and each ticket has a 1 in 50 chance to win a prize. For more information and to buy tickets, visit www.cheltenhamlottery.co.uk.
