This fun community event is back for its third year, welcoming dogs and their families for a day of canine and family fun.

  •  10.30am to 1pm on Saturday 2 July 2022 at Elmfield Park

Hosted by St Peter’s and The Moors (SPTM) Big Local and Cheltenham Animal Shelter, at Elmfield Park, Cheltenham, the jubilee celebration will have lots to do for dog lovers of all ages.

The day starts with registration from 10.30am to 11.15am, and there are five different classes to choose from including: cutest puppy, distinguished veteran, best rescue, young handler and waggiest tail.

Cllr Flo Clucas cabinet member for safety and communities said: ‘As SPTM Big Local Chair, I’m delighted that we are co-hosting this event again. Elmfield Park is a dog friendly park and we know this event was well received in the past by the local community so we hope people will come out and support it again”

Cllr Tabi Joy, ward councillor for St Paul’s, continues: “SPTM Big Local makes a huge difference connecting people in the community. I’m thrilled to be a part of this event to celebrate the wonderful dogs who’ve made our homes feel warmer and safer in the last two years.

“We are really looking forward to seeing people and their pets to have fun and swap care tips as well! It’s going to be a brilliant day.”

Also on the day is dog agility with Cheltenham Animal Shelter, pet tips from Pittville Pets, doggy photo booth, refreshments and much more.
