Don’t miss the big plant sale and pot swap at Arle Nursery on Hayden Road, which starts next Friday (11 May).

The nursery will be open every Friday and Saturday from 9am to 4pm throughout May and June, while stocks last.

Local residents can choose from a huge range of bedding plants including fuchsias, begonias, geraniums, and trailing basket plants; and vegetable plants such as courgettes, cabbages, sprouts, and tomatoes. Good deals are also available on compost.

This year residents can take part in a ‘pot swap’ where they can bring their unwanted plastic plant pots down to the nursery and exchange them for pots of different sizes.

Mark Wiltshire, nursery manager, says “Don’t miss this great opportunity to pick up some excellent quality plants at very competitive prices.”

Arle Nursery is run by Ubico Limited on behalf of Cheltenham Borough Council. The nursery grows plants for use in Cheltenham’s parks and gardens, and also supplies plants to other councils across the country. Around 750,000 plants are grown at the nursery each year.
