With strong winds forecast for the next few days, residents are kindly asked to ensure that their boxes and bins are safely secured.
 

Service update:

Ubico have reported that a number of collections have been missed today, Thursday 25 April.

Refuse has not been completed in Beechurst Avenue off Eldon Road.

Garden bins have not been collected in School Road, Gladstone Road and Ledmore Road.

Recycling has not been collected in Prestbury Road (by shop),  Whaddon Road,  Wymans Road,  Colne Avenue,  Thames Road,  Whaddon Drive, Hillview Road,  Wessex Drive, Linden Avenue from Linden Close to top of the road, Linden Close No 36 to the end of the road, Bouncers Lane,  Newland Court and  Cromwell Road.

All food crews have reported no issues.

Crews will return first thing in the morning. Please ensure that all bins, boxes and bags are presented at the kerbside by 7am. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Sorting your recycling

This is why it’s good to sort your recycling. Thanks to Gloucestershire Live for allowing us to share their video.

Our crews are out and about in the new bright green Romaquip recycling trucks.

These incredibly efficient vehicles enable us to take all the different materials away for recycling and separating your recyclable items means that they remain high quality.

This also ensures that the collection crews are able to minimise the amount of time they spend blocking roads.
