Youth Cafe pilot aims to create a safe and welcoming space for young people

No Child Left Behind (NCLB) is launching a Youth Cafe pilot at Smokey Joe's on Bennington Street in Cheltenham town centre every Thursday afternoon for seven weeks, giving young people a safe and fun place to spend time and connect with others. The project is in response to last year’s NCLB Year of Youth Action including outreach youth work by The Rock Cheltenham , along with a consultation carried out by Springbank Community Group CiC at the Cambray Carnival in September 2025....

As part of the joint enforcement operation during Cheltenham’s November race meet, on Friday 15 November 2025, a Wolverhampton licensed private hire vehicle was inspected by the Avon and Somerset Police taxi compliance officer in company with a Cheltenham Borough Council licensing officer....
