New Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) strategic infrastructure funding round opens

Applications are now invited for funding to support strategic infrastructure projects across Cheltenham Borough, Gloucester City and Tewkesbury Borough council areas. The ten-week bidding period runs from Monday, 1 June, to Friday, 7 August. The funding will support both: Strategic infrastructure projects benefiting all three council areas; and Local strategic infrastructure projects benefitting one or two areas, where these deliver wider community benefits, support new development, and help deliver sustainable growth....
Winning public art commission to transform Honeybourne Line

Cheltenham has successfully retained its Purple Flag award for the eleventh consecutive year. The nationally recognised Purple Flag award is given to towns and cities that have an appealing, safe and welcoming evening and night-time economy (ENTE). Like the Blue Flag for beaches, the Purple Flag aims to raise the standard and broaden the appeal of town and city centres between 5pm and 5am....
Hot weather bin collections in Cheltenham

Due to the hot weather forecast on Tuesday 26, Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 May, our collection teams will be starting their rounds from 6am instead of 7am.
