The Blue Badge scheme is a national scheme designed to give people with severe mobility problems, who have difficulty using public transport, the ability to park close to the facilities and services they need to use, so as to improve their lifestyle, independence and freedom of choice.
For information about the Blue Badge scheme in Gloucestershire and how to apply, please visit the Gloucestershire County Council website.
This online leaflet gives you further information about the scheme, including where you can park and your responsibilities as a Blue Badge holder.
All council car parks in Cheltenham have designated disabled parking bays. Blue Badge holders are able to park all day, free of charge, as long as their badge is displayed. If no disabled parking bays are available, blue badge holders may park in any other car park bay.
