Streams of funding do become available for community groups to bid for at different times throughout the year.

Community Pride

'Community Pride Fund' has allocated a total of just over £280,000 over the past seven years, to over 140 community-based projects that have improved or enhanced their local neighbourhoods.

This includes 'community building grants' of smaller amounts (up to £300).

Community Pride and Community Building grants are usually open for applications during the summer.
