Pumpkin lantern with toothy grin

Spooky hair clips, pumpkin badges and trick or treat bags are some of the things that youngsters can make during two crafty workshops.

The sessions will take place during next week’s half term break at leisure@cheltenham on Tommy Taylor’s Lane.

The workshops, for children aged 6-12 years, will run on Tuesday 23 October from 9.30am until 11.30am and will cost £12.50 per place.

On the same day, at 4pm , there will also be a Tatty Bumpkin class where children aged 4-7 years old can have a go a child yoga.  Tatty Bumpkin classes enhance feelings of well-being right from the start, by combining yoga, story-telling, active play and music. All the stories are aligned to the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum to encourage learning.  This class will be free of charge, but there are limited spaces.

Daniel Brookes, activities co-ordinator said: ‘’The activities will be a fun and safe way for children to spend their time during the half term week.  They are great for encouraging creativity and interaction with other children.’’

Spaces can be booked from today by calling the customer service team on 01242 528764.
