leisure@cheltenham will be opening its doors on Saturday 13 July, with lots of free classes and activities to celebrate the launch of its fantastic Golden Giveaway season.
The Golden Giveaway season - 13 July through to 13 October - showcases a range of great deals on membership packages to help you and your family get active!
If you are looking to have some family fun, then come along on Saturday to enjoy some of the free activities and classes on offer, as well as free advice on how to stay active and healthy.
There will be badminton sessions, ranging from ‘junior’ to ‘adult beginners’, where you can pick up new tips from an experienced coach. If you fancy something a little more robust, then there will be Taekwondo in the afternoon for all ages. Kids (over five years) can get bouncing and sample coached trampolining in a safe environment.
Maybe having a boogie is more of your thing? There will be Zumba in the morning, and Zumbatomic (4-7 years) after lunch – mums can join in too! For older kids there will be Street Dancing (8-13 years) where you will be taught some cool freestyle moves.
If getting wet is your family’s thing, then you can book on to our diving taster-sessions or join in our Swim Safe session for competent young swimmers, teaching good pool awareness. If you just fancy a dip with the kids then the training pool will be open in the afternoon.
From 4.30pm on Friday 12 July all the way through to Sunday evening, our Exercise to Music classes will be free.
Daniel Brookes, Activities Coordinator, says, “Saturday will be a really great day for families to come and test out the facilities here at leisure@cheltenham. All of the classes on the day will be free and there will be lots of other fun things for adults and children to get involved with. It’ll be a really fun day out, so please do come along.”
Visit leisureatcheltenham.com for a full list of activities.
Spaces on the free classes will be limited, so please ensure you book in advance by calling leisure@cheltenham on 01242 528764.
