There are only a few days to go until the Charlton Park ward election takes place.
We want to remind local residents that their vote is important and to make sure they are fully prepared for Thursday 3 July. It is particularly important for those voting by post to fill in their ballot papers privately and return them as soon as possible.
The turnout figure for Charlton Park ward for the European Parliamentary election in May was 38.33%. Andrew North, Returning Officer for Cheltenham Borough Council is reminding Charlton Park ward residents that they need to vote on 3 July if they are to have their say. He said: “Councillors are there to represent your wishes in your local community. They provide a vital link between the local authority and the communities in which they serve.
“Councillors have an obligation to protect the interests of local residents and to help ensure the council is delivering services effectively.
“By voting at the election Charlton Park residents get to have a say in who they want to represent them in their local community.”
Charlton Park residents - have your say and vote on Thursday 3 July. To find your polling station, visit the council's website.
