Come along and join in the free family fun from 11am to 2pm this Saturday (18 June) at Leckhampton Hill for National Meadows Day.

There will be story-telling, face-painting, games, wild play, guided walks and bug hunts among the flowers.

Wayne Sedgwick, senior community ranger for Cheltenham Borough Council, says: “We’d like to invite residents and their families to come along to this free event on Saturday and discover just how important and beautiful our meadows are.

“We have lots of fun and free events going on please join us with a blanket and picnic.

“We hope the day will raise awareness of the plants and creatures that live there.”
