Visitors and residents in Cheltenham can now learn to fly on a trapeze with All Bars Flying Trapeze Club.

The club has the only bar-to-bar flying trapeze rig in the UK, and the first full size outdoor rig outside London. It will be moving around four Cheltenham parks over the summer months.

Taster sessions are available to beginners and more experienced flyers can master advanced tricks in small and friendly classes.

Wayne Sedgwick, senior community ranger at Cheltenham Borough Council, says: “This is a great investment in Cheltenham and is something that has never been done before outside London. Cheltenham Borough Council is always keen to embrace new and different initiatives and we look forward to a fantastic summer working with the club.”

Ian Chodera from All Bars Flying Trapeze Club says: “We’re really excited to be here in Cheltenham and very much looking forward to the next few months.

“Flying on a trapeze is an amazing experience and we’d like to encourage people to have a go. At the same time we offer affordable regular sessions for the more experienced flyer – so please come along and see what it’s all about!”
