Children at awards ceremony for No Child Left Behind awards in 2020

Hosts confirmed, Camilla Lewington and Claire Thayers.

A new date of Wednesday 9 March 2022 has been announced for the much anticipated No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Awards in association with Punchline which had to be rescheduled from early January due to Covid reasons.

Cllr Flo Clucas, member for communities and safety said ‘’I’m delighted the NCLB awards can go ahead, on Wednesday 9 March 2022 when we will celebrate all the amazing projects that have supported children and families throughout the pandemic.

“I’m so pleased that Punchline have come on board to help us to help us plan for the event and I want to thank them for helping us find 14 amazing sponsors. I also want to thank the county Ambassadors for Vulnerable Children and Young People who have helped us choose the award winners. I am really looking forward to seeing all the projects along with the judges, sponsors and VIP guests.”

In addition to the new date the NCLB Awards team have also confirmed that performer and singer Camilla Lewington who co-hosted the 2019 awards will return to again co-host with board member of Cheltenham Chamber of Commerce and corporate social responsibility (CSR) consultant Claire Thayers.

The new co-host, Claire Thayers, said: ‘’I am thrilled to have been asked to be a co-host for the awards and I look forward to supporting the No Child Left Behind initiative and awards. 

“Post Covid there is a real need to work together and at Cheltenham Chamber we are working hard to break own the silos, to encourage collaboration. The benefits of engaging and supporting our communities are endless. There is nowhere better for local business to start their CSR than by supporting NCLB and local schools because they are our future workforce, and together we can ensure everyone benefits.’’
