1 June, 11am – 3pm at Pittville Park

The council's play development team presents an action packed day with inflatables, husky sledge rides, a climbing wall and more on Wednesday 1 June.  At Pittville Park from 11am until 3pm, youngsters can have a go at a variety of outdoor activities for only £2 per child*.

Battlesports, arts and crafts, an animal petting zone, a visit from the police and fire service, face painting and a sport arena will also provide lots for the whole family to enjoy.  Music provided by Total Star will add to the atmosphere.

Dave Aston, the council's play development officer said: ''The day will be a great way of encouraging children to spend time outdoors during the half term.  We have plenty lined up to keep them entertained and hope to see lots of people come along.  Fingers crossed for good weather!''

Notes

* Children aged under four years old can take part free of charge. All inflatables, the husky rides, battlesports and climbing wall require children to have a wristband, charged at £2 each.  Wristbands can be purchased on the day from the Pump Room. The husky rides and battlesports are for children aged seven years upwards.

Play events are an open access activity and as such cannot we accept responsibility for any users of the service. We would ask that children under 8 years old are accompanied by an adult.
