leisure@cheltenham are delighted to announce a new partnership with Cheltenham Town football club (CTFC).

The leisure centre has become the club's official fitness partner, which will see the Cheltenham Town squad using the centre's facilities during the week as part of daily training routines.

Stephen Petherick, commercial manager said "We are pleased to welcome Cheltenham Town to our facilities and look forward to working with them to promote active lifestyles in Cheltenham, and encouraging participation in sports. It's great that the team will be training and engaging in activity with local people and supporting the town's premier recreation facilities".

Councillor Andrew McKinlay, cabinet member for sport and culture said: "This is great news for sports in Cheltenham. The partnership with Cheltenham Town will boost leisure@'s reputation and encourage new people to take up sports. I also hope that the use of the first class facilities at leisure@ will help Cheltenham Town in their push for promotion".

In celebration of this new partnership, leisure@ will play host to the Cheltenham Town squad on Tuesday 20 September. Come along to leisure@cheltenham between 4.30pm and 6.00pm to meet the team who will be signing autographs.
