Kick off the New Year with swimming sessions at leisure@cheltenham.

leisure@cheltenham are running a range of swimming sessions which start the week commencing 9 January and run for a 10 week period.

‘Swim a Song’ and ‘Jellyfish’ classes are back, costing £45.50 for 10 sessions.

The ‘Swim a Song’ sessions will take place on Tuesdays from 10.00am for ages 12 - 18 months, Wednesdays from 9.30am for ages 18 - 24 months and Thursdays from 9.30am for ages 4 - 12 months. These sessions are an alternative, fun, innovative and effective programme for introducing adults with babies or very young children to the exciting world of aquatics through song and rhyme. The programme fills the gap in teaching provision for children aged from 4 months to 24 months.

‘Jellyfish’ sessions, aimed at 2 - 3 year olds. These sessions are fun and effective lessons for parents and children to learn together whilst working towards the ASA Duckling Awards. Lessons are on a Thursday at 10.30am.

Spaces are also available on ‘Fit as a Fish’ lessons, which will be held on Thursdays from 11.30am. Costing £20 for 10 lessons, these sessions are aimed at people aged 50 and over and offer an opportunity to help improve wellbeing, stroke ability and water confidence.

Nicola Rees, activities co-ordinator said: "We now have something for everyone to enjoy the pool".
