The third annual Midsummer Fiesta will be held in Montpellier Gardens on Saturday 7 July.

It is the biggest free outdoor event in Cheltenham; attracting crowds of thousands. The Fiesta relies on sponsorship from local businesses and once again a sponsorship raffle is being held.

Tickets for the sponsorship raffle are £100 each and all sponsors will be advertised in the run up and during the event, but the winner drawn on 14 May will get special billing as our headline sponsor on all of the leaflets, banners, websites and on the sponsors wall.

Hannah Wright, the council’s strategy and engagement assistant, said: “It’s a great opportunity to promote your business and interact with thousands of potential customers. The event is extremely popular so we do hope local businesses grab the opportunity to sponsor the event.”

The event will feature a selection of Cheltenham’s best local bands and dance acts performing from 12pm–9pm. Around the gardens there will be many attractions including dance and Olympic sport workshops; children’s village with circus workshop, bouncy castles and donkey rides; Danters Fun Fair; ‘Heart Angels’; a large collection of classic and vintage cars; a 100 stall market place featuring local crafts, produce, games, jewellery, preserves and gifts; a skateboarding competition; a range of food and a large bar area.

The Midsummer Fiesta is organised by Cheltenham Borough Council, Cheltenham Partnership, HSBC Cheltenham Music Festival, Hesters Way Partnership and Cheltenham West End Partnership and is run with the help of volunteers. The aim is to celebrate the diversity and talents in Cheltenham and give everybody in the Borough an affordable and memorable day out.

If you would like to enter the sponsorship raffle, or help the Fiesta in any other way - perhaps by donating prizes for the prize draw, please email Helen Down or see the Midsummer Fiesta website for more details.
