Submitting a transport assessment/transport statement
When is one required?
All major applications likely to generate significant levels of vehicular movements.
What must it include?
The precise scope will need to be agreed with Gloucestershire County Council on a case-by-case basis. It will need to demonstrate the impact, including cumulative impacts, of the proposed development on:
- Congestion on the transport network
- Travel safety within the zone of influence of the development
- Noise and / or atmospheric pollution within the zone of influence of the development
The information submitted must enable to us to assess the application against Policy INF1 (Transport Network) of the Joint Core Strategy.
