Financial rules provide the framework for managing the council’s financial affairs, ensuring high integrity and accountability.

The links below provide information on the financial rules that relate to Cheltenham Borough Council along with each local authority within GO Shared Services: Cheltenham Borough Council, Cotswold District Council, the Forest of Dean District Council and West Oxfordshire District Council. GO Shared Services provides finance, human resources, payroll and procurement services to the four partner councils and to Ubico Ltd, with certain services also provided to Cheltenham Borough Homes (CBH) Ltd.
