We make as much information available as possible free of charge on our website. We have adopted the model publication scheme which has been prepared and approved by the Information Commissioner. If any information cannot be found via this page or specific service web pages it can be requested under the Freedom of Information Act.

We have a constitution, which sets out how the council operates, how decisions are made and the procedures which are to be followed.

Transparency - publication of council data

We are working towards allowing our data to be open so it can be shared and used easily. In our open data area you can find information about payments to suppliers and senior officers' salaries.

Open data is about sharing our information to a wider audience. The datasets must be in open, machine readable formats that can be easily reused (XML, RSS, RDF or CSV).
