Comprehensive Area Assessment

Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA) was the inspection regime for pubic services that ran from 2008 to 2010. It drew together information about how well residents were being served by authorities and agencies including Police, and Primary Care Trusts.

As part of CAA, the council was assessed by an independent watchdog about how well performed in meeting local priorities.

Our assessment (published in December 2009) stated that overall, Cheltenham Borough Council was performing well, whilst delivering value for money and managing performance.

More information about Comprehensive Area Assessment is available from the Oneplace website, though this webiste is no longer being updated.
