Allotment site wardens

allotment

Allotment site wardens are volunteers who help Cheltenham Borough Council manage the allotment sites. There are one or two wardens at each site. They have an allotment plot on the site and are experienced allotment gardeners.

The site wardens show available plots to new tenants, offer horticultural advice, report any maintenance issues and liaise with the allotment officer. They are volunteers and their contribution to the smooth running of allotments is vital and is also very much appreciated.

Once you reach the top of a site waiting list, you will be contacted by the volunteer site warden for that site and invited to view the available plot(s).
