Holding events on council land
Cheltenham's council owned parks and open spaces offer a range of venues for all sorts of outdoor events. Events range from large circuses and funfairs to smaller local community events such as fetes and fundays.
Informal gatherings of people for recreational use of the park do not need to go through our formal event process.
The Cheltenham Trust delivers leisure and culture services on behalf of the council. The Trust is responsible for running Leisure at Cheltenham, the Prince of Wales Stadium, the sport, play and healthy lifestyles service, the tourism service and the Tourist Information Centre. The Trust also manages the operation and development of some of Cheltenham’s most iconic cultural venues – Cheltenham Town Hall, The Wilson and Pittville Pump Room.
