Paws in the Park 2015

The annual dog event will take place on Sunday 2 August 2015. The event will be held on Pittville Pump Room lawn, in front of the Pump Room in Pittville Park.

The event is organised by Cheltenham Borough Council with support from Animal Magic, Cheltenham Animal Shelter and

Paws 2014 had 45 stands selling pet related goodies and raising funds for many pet related charities and we are hoping 2015 will be even better.

For 2015 we can announce that Cotswold Canine Athletics will be attending this year. More information to follow about what Cotswold Canine Athletics will be doing.

A dog show will take place from 12 noon with 9 different classes

  • Most handsome dog
  • Prettiest bitch
  • Most appealing eyes
  • Waggiest tail
  • Cutest puppy
  • Child's best friend
  • Golden oldies
  • Best rescue
  • Dog the judge would most like to take home
Cheltenham Animal Shelter will be providing a-go-agility

Dogs Trust will be hopefully attending again offering free microchipping as part of the government scheme.

Beyond the lens and Animal Magic will be taking photographs in their photo tent.

Something for the children to be involved in bouncy castle, face painting and Gloucestershire Bike Project.

Refreshments are available at The Boathouse, and from The Green Coffee Machine - both local businesses.

The event in brief:

  • 11am open for registration for the dog show (£2 per dog per class)
  • 12 noon dog show start
  • Food and drink available at the event
  • Doggy related stands sell a range of pet goodies
  • Animal charities
  • Face painting, bouncy castle

All set in a great award winning park.
