Paws in the Park 2014

Paws in the Park 2014 is on Sunday 3 August

Venue will be on the lawn in front of Pittville Pump Room, Pittville Park.

Pittville Pump Room lawn will be the host to the annual dog event Paws in the Park 2014 on Sunday 3 August.

The event is organised by Cheltenham Borough Council with support from Animal Magic, Cheltenham Animal Shelter and this year for the first time Lazy

Paws 2014 has 45 stand selling pet related goodies and raising funds for many pet related charities.

A dog show will take place from 12 noon with 9 different classes

  • Most Handsome Dog
  • Prettiest Bitch
  • Most Appealing Eyes
  • Waggiest Tail
  • Cutest Puppy
  • Childs Best Friend
  • Golden Oldies
  • Best Rescue
  • Dog the Judge would most like to take home

Cheltenham Animal Shelter will be providing a-go-agility and the dog scurry.

Dog Trust will be attending offering Microchipping as part of the government scheme.

Beyond the lens and Animal Magic will be taking photographs in their photo tent and mouse about town photography will be on hand to catch the action shots of the day.

Something for the children to be involved in bouncy castle, face painting and Gloucestershire Bike Project.

Refreshments include The Boathouse, and The Green Coffee Machine both local businesses.

  • 11.00am open for registration for the dog show (£2 per dog per class)
