LGBT+ communities
In Cheltenham we recognise and respect the diversity in both sexual orientation and gender identity within our town.
Cheltenham Borough Council is a proudly a member of the LGBT+ partnership which supports Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and connected areas.
The partnership works to mutually support individuals and partners in Gloucestershire and neighbouring counties to gain a greater sense of security, to know who their allies are and where to find them, and to strive for more education and understanding for those who may not be quite as accepting at the moment.
There are a variety of support groups and activities taking place in Cheltenham and the surrounding areas for the LGBT+ community which you can find out about on the LGBT+ partnership website.
