Cheltenham Zero - working in partnership

CheltenhamZero logo

The climate emergency declaration includes a commitment to become a carbon neutral borough by 2030.  We cannot do this on our own, but we can support the community to respond to the climate crisis.

In January 2021, Cheltenham held its first virtual climate action partnership conference, organised by the council in partnership with Vision 21. The conference was the first step towards the formation of Cheltenham Zero - a cross-sector collaborative partnership enabling private sector, public sector, charities and community groups from across the borough to work together to achieve a net zero carbon Cheltenham by 2030.  Two sessions were held - one for businesses and one for community groups.  Look for #CheltenhamZero Climate Conference on the council's Youtube channel if you would like to view to the recordings.

The Cheltenham Zero agreement
