Welcome to Cheltenham Borough Council and thanks for your interest in our jobs pages.

So what’s it like working for Cheltenham Borough Council? Our council impacts everyone who lives in, works in or visits Cheltenham. We’re responsible for everything from keeping our streets clean, maintaining our green space, managing planning and licensing services that help shape what our town looks like and how some businesses like pubs and restaurants operate, through to leading multi-million pound regeneration schemes such as our plans to make Cheltenham the Cyber Capital of the UK. We are known nationally for our track record of innovative and creative work that continuously improves how we deliver services to our residents, communities and businesses.

We also own lots of buildings and assets including 4,500 council houses, an airport, a range of iconic cultural buildings, and not forgetting our stunning parks and gardens.  Our partnership working makes us special and we work closely with our key partners like The Cheltenham Trust, Cheltenham Borough Homes, Ubico, Cheltenham BID and Cheltenham Festivals, to name a few.  Whatever you do or wherever you go in Cheltenham, Cheltenham Borough Council will be involved somewhere!

That’s why I think Cheltenham Borough Council is a great place to work. We are a fantastic, dedicated and friendly team who are passionate about what we do.
