CON29 data

What is CON29 data?

The CON29 is a questionnaire used to make further enquiries of the council. It contains many 'warning' questions, the answers to which you will not find on any statutory registers.

Examples of the information only to be found by submitting a CON29 are:

  • compulsory purchase orders
  • proposed tree preservation orders
  • many informal notices under planning and highway laws which cannot be found on any register
  • road proposals or schemes (including road widening)
  • proposed enforcement action

System constraints mean that we are currently unable to answer some questions individually due to the time and cost involved. However, an upgrade to our systems in the near future will enable us to answer each of the CON 29R questions individually.  Pricing will then be reviewed and published for each question.

Access to CON29 data

Cheltenham Borough Council provide CON29 data in its full component form. This includes building regulations, traffic schemes and outstanding notices.

If you require a CON29 search, please complete the CON29 and CON29O part search form and return to [email protected]. Payments can be made online.

All searches submitted must be accompanied by an OS plan of the property. We aim to issue search results within 10 working days of receipt of the appropriate fee.

If you have any questions, please contact the land charges team.
