Starting work

Starting work can cause a lot of uncertainty. Your benefit entiltement will change so you need to tell us immediately if you start a new job, increase your normal hours, start working overtime, get a pay rise and so on.

In some circumstances you will need to claim Universal Credit instead so please telephone the helpline to check what action you need to take.
