Friends of Hatherley Park

lake surrounded by trees and shrubs

Friends of Hatherley Park was formed in September 2001. The group, which is made up of local residents and park users, actively assists the council in maintaining and improving the park and organising park events. They have their own website where you will find photos, news and events as well as details of membership.

Notice boards in the park keep visitors up to date with events and activities, projects and Friends and Resident Association news.

Grant success

To date, The Friends of Hatherley Park have successfully obtained over £30,000 from grant funding bodies such as the British Trust of conservation Volunteers (BTCV) and Severn Trent Water.

Recent projects include new fencing around the wildlife pond area and installing the two 'Friends of' notice boards which give information about the group and upcoming events.
