Management plan 2016-2026
Cheltenham Borough Council's green space development team worked in partnership with the Friends of Pittville to develop the Pittville Park Green Flag Award and Green Heritage Site Management Plan 2016 – 2026 to assist in the long term management, maintenance and development of the park and to support the Green Flag Award and Green Heritage Site application.
Conservation management plan
The Landscape Agency was commissioned in October 2006 to prepare a Conservation Management Plan (CMP) for Pittville Park in Cheltenham.
The plan was put together to support our bid for grant aid from the Heritage Lottery Fund to part-fund the conservation, repair, restoration and enhancement of the historic park at Pittville. The plan also sets out proposals to enhance the ecology of the site and enable greater interpretation of the site for park visitors. The Heritage Lottery Fund bid was unsuccessful, but in partnership with the Friends of Pittville Park and other organisations, we are using this plan to guide future developments.
