What happens next

A 28 day consultation period will begin the day after we receive your application.

If there are no representations (objections) to your application, your licence will be granted with conditions.

Representations can be made, but they must address the four licensing objectives:

  • protection of children from harm
  • prevention of crime and disorder
  • prevention of public nuisance
  • public safety

If valid representations are made to your application, you will be contacted so we can discuss these with you.  If they cannot be resolved, your application will be referred to the licensing sub-committee.

This sub-committee must make a decision on your application with 20 working days of the end of the consultation period.
