Fees for franchises or arrangers application

The fees below apply if you are a franchise operator or accomodation arranger. 

The licence fee is split into two seperate parts, both of which are non-refundable: 

  1. The application fee which is paid when you submit an application. This fee covers the costs associated with determining the application to the point that it is ready to issue
  2. The issue fee which is paid after your inspection. This fee covers the cost of issuing the licence and the follow up inspection

Working out the fees

Here's a step by step guide to help you calculate your fees.

Application fee

  • Step 1 - You  start with the basic application fee which includes either one host or a head office based in Cheltenham
  • Step 2 - You then multiply the host fee by the number of hosts you manage (not including the host or head office covered in the basic application fee) and add this to the basic application fee
  • Step 3 - You may need to include the head office fee if this has not been supplied

Issue fee

  • Step 1 - You will start with the basic issue fee which includes either one host or head office (based in Cheltenham)
  • Step 2 - You then multiply the host issue fee by the number of of hosts you manage (not including the host or head office covered in the basic fee) and add this to the basic issue fee
  • Step 2 - The total issue fee may include additional fees
