Why we collect information about you?

We collect information to enable us to organise the Paws dog competition.

The organisation of events in green spaces is not a statutory duty of the Council so this information is provided by you on a consent basis and will be used by the Council in association with the Paws event only.

What information do we collect about you?

We collect your title, name, the name of your pet and the competition classes you wish to enter. We also take photographs of the event, including of people and pets.

Who do we share this information with?

We do not share the written information you have given us with anyone else. Photographs of the event, people and pets may be used online and in print media but without names.

Is there any information transferred to or stored on servers based outside the EEA?

No.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep written information about you for a maximum period of 1 week following the completion of the PAWS in the Park event.Photographs in print and online media may be available indefinitely.

Who do we collect information from?

We collect information from you or from a friend or family member if they are assisting you with your entry form.

What are the consequences if we do not collect the data?

The council would be unable to run the Paws dog show without basic information by which it can sort entries into the various classes and allocate prizes.

Are any decisions about you made by automatic means?

No.
